Riggs that filter is unbelievable. I always thought that I had the Vector Vest Holy Grail getting in on TIE at 9 and NTRI at 6 but this filter is amazing. The real beauty of your filter is holding for longer than you say. Remember Jesse Livermore said that the best trades he's ever made came from sitting on his hands. On a 30 day offset one would be up cumulatively 19% on your filter. 19% in one month..unbelievable.

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!
You have to enter/exit the trade, that's trading.

Riggs, a question on OVTI which hit your filter today (if I lowered your price above to $20). It fit all your entry signals perfectly except that the ema10 was already above the ema20. Are you waiting strictly for the 10/20 crossover or have you found that it doesn't seem to matter if the 10 is already above the 20.
Thanks, Frank

I agree that my ignorance is embarassing, but how do I use this filter. For instance, I don't understand the offset days?

Very simple. When your LIVE 15-min. chart reads like this....
1. EMA(10)crosses EMA(20)
2. Parabolic Sar crosses under price
3. +DI is above -DI, & +DI is above ADX
4. Price is below MIDDLE band of Linear Regression Line(60)
5. Price is above 200 MA
6. Look for a 100% more volume spike within the last 2 sessions
7. The "Tick" for the day is above 0
Don't enter a stock if.....
1. Close crossed above MIDDLE band of Linear Regression Line(60)
OR
2. +DI fell BELOW ADX(14)within the last five(5) sessions
3. Price is below 200 MA on 15-min. chart

First off, thank you. Secondly, I've never taken the time to backtest ANY of my filters. The performance say's it all for me. Others live for backtesting. Thanks for taking the time though. Here again is my newest filter....

You're funny! The "warm filter" was nothing more than a bunch of squiggly lines with no direction until "I" showed YOU and everyone else here how to use it. BTW, it's now called "Accumulation Warm Pop-80." Glad I was able to "fix it" and sell it when YOU weren't able to.
Here's yet another example of just that. Like all that green Avery?
As for 60-day "slope of close", that credit goes to "cegis." Not you pal. But nice try though. LOL....

Pretty neat little filter huh? I'm glad you see what I've been trying to tell everyone. It will also tell you when the market is correcting itself. I've commanded the filter to show stocks where ccval, moval & wrval are all three increasing. But with the market currently in a windfall it's not showing many stocks. The first day you see 10 or more, JUMP IN!
This filter is so awesome that it retrieves good stocks that have fallen and then bounced all at once, but gets you in ealy enough for a nice little 3-5 day ride. You'll also notice these are all stocks that have experienced success and are merely just pulling back. This might just be my best work to date. Thanks and glad I was able to help.

Please understand...the 10/20 crossover i'm talking about is on 15-min charts INTRADAY. If you wait till it's on daily charts, you're too late sometimes. If you wait till a 10/20 on daily's, most of us will already be selling while you'll be buying. Good luck bud.....

The "offset" is nothing more than a recent performance of the filter. If you have an "offset 3 days," that means those were the stocks the filter spit out 3 days ago and the shaded area on the far right side of the chart is the up-to-date performance of the filter. I always keep an eye out for 1-3 days because sometimes the stocks won't rise until that 2nd or third day, but it alows you to monitor those stocks. It's really an awesome feacher. If you want to change any filter to current conditions, just change it to "offset 0-days." Heres's the filter without the "offset" date.

Riggs, you mentioned the setup on the 15 minute chart that you look for before entry - is there a particular setup on the DAILY chart that you look for to choose among the stocks that your filter produces? Thanks in advance sir.
