Thanks shillihs. just worried a bit about going long on XIV, given the potential for a black monday. but I assume you think sometime over the next week going long on xiv will pay off.

All I know is they don't telegraph bear markets so they will make everyone complacent.
Plus there is a divergence on IFT.

$TVIX up 10% AH....
I think TMF if more safe bet than XIV right now... Who knows what tomorrow will bring...

Some more guesses, Tvix opens down then ends up Monday, then gaps down Tuesday for 4-9 days.
We will see a flattening out at which point I will buy Tmf for 2 weeks, then I will go all in Tvix for 6 weeks.
After the Tvix cycle, I will go long Xiv for an undetermined length of time.
That's the plan.

Yes you can go long Xiv but one will make a crap full more shorting Tvix...
