Giddyup AMD....on INTC's woes; changing of the guards?

Uncle Elon did deliver; sold off on news. Now the bears will be yapping up about valuations. Derp play chalked up to a loss!

Hmmm...where's the party going?

Big boys earnings coming up!

@graf...thank you for dropping by!

Asset allocation filter(s)/concept is something I haven't looked into yet (trading TLT options are closing thing I've ventured out to! ).

If you have any SF thread or script you could suggest for me to start diving to...I would be grateful!

Here is an overall market watch using Chop Zone. The tickers are a list of uncorrelated ETFs so you can see which sectors are doing well and which are not.

The general way to read this is to go with the current trend displayed. When you see 2 consecutive bars show up on the opposite trend, take note as this may signal a trend reversal. A third consecutive bar is considered confirmation of the reversal. If the Chop Zone is choppy (pun intended), it signifies there is no dominant trend and you should wait them out (e.g. IYR, EWW as of this post).

@xarlor...thank you as always for your kindness and your willingness to help! Trust all is well with you.

guess I was too busy staring at the hot chicks in class...i seem have have this thought of ...as stocks go up...gold or bonds lag and vice versa. So far, gold has been doing well as well. I've only played it using GLD.

; = P

Note to self...AMD earnings coming up (didn't realize it was coming fast!). Paring down after that good 3 day run is prudent!

I didn't realize i posted AMD twice. here is INTC. The Gap will be filled one day????

Dead, flat or sideways during big boys earnings week!

AMD reporting at close. INTC beat but delayed 7; AMD has been shipping 7's.

KODK...this thing is still alive? Up 210% short? ;=D couldn't find shares!

AMD reports and chicka - boooom! Guidance was also positive 30/40 sequentially and YOY.
Congrats longs. Regardless of what AH indicates...AMD is the horse to bet over INTC.

The itch to pull the trigger on earnings plays!

For craps and giggles...
AAPL - will beat; may not provide color or guidance
GOOG - will beat; no color as well
FB - will beat

Let's see if I can have another career as a fortune teller!

AAPL beat check!

FB beat check!

GOOG beat but...

AMZN beat check!

The take away? We will probably remember COVID as the era wherein TECH rose to supplant the old industries!

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." Marcus Aurelius.

As COVID hit and the stats were piling up, the "noise" was about:
- there will be no quick "v" shaped recovery
- end is here; deepest depression/recession ever
- blood on the streets and bankruptcy galore

As long as liquidity can be pumped...

Buying back in...one's patience will be severely tested.

AAPL is an interesting case (for me at least). Who would have thunk that they actually would blow out the expectations and declare a 1:4 split?

AMZN, FB, NFLX, AMD and AAPL would all be Darva plays i imagine (which to my simple mind is just a momo play till the music stops).
