Rough few days...not because of losing trades but because I was "afraid" of losing trades...that led me to exit on positions that ended up running more! Caught the "over thinking" and "over trading" symptoms!
The arbitrary exits of % profits is obviously making it mentally challenging for me after I see my picks go on a tear after I exit (YINN and INDL to name a few).
I am happy with my entries; my exits needs fixing (and so does my battle with my mindset!).
maybe ema(8) is a start
Now, I sit and wait patiently.

I was just talking about using ema(8) as an exit; this would have been an "exit"...yet, I "entered".
What was I thinking? Simply, I saw it dump by almost $10 and it managed to claw itself back up. Made me wonder...so I jumped in. $96 mental stop; weekly RSI is turning down...it already did that the day before.
If it breaks $108, I will consider adding.

Added another tranche as it broke $108. Will use EOD price of $110.66 to track. ACB of $107.51
How will I end up trading this....will add another tranche when it breaks $114
Don't know how to post a stockchart screen shot...this baby seems to like hugging the upper BB on the weekly charts.
AMZN and GOOG went nuts on friday. No signs of an October dump....or ???

it's hard to believe but the major institutional call volume is on QQQ, FB, AMZN etc. sure seems like we are going even higher.

thanks for dropping by PT!
yeah...guess this October taught me that not all Octobers will be the same. I just have to trade the signals and maybe scale in on dips given that it appears that there doesn't seem to be a real fundamental trigger that could roil this run (ala financial crisis).
Testing things out...bought CWEB at $47.69 using EOD prices.

SMH...trying not to catch the overtrading disease, I sat when I could have sold $7 higher and re-loaded around here. Now, I wait patiently to add more....
Selling CWEB $52.

ACB of $106.25. To add or not to add. Looks like a triple top breakout. Greed says...add the last 1/5 tranche.
