many large intraday volume spikes last 2 days between 54-55 option buys today at 54.50 aug calls 55--1.55 57.5--.50 60---0.15 65--0.05 sept calls 55-2.75 57.5--1.65 60 0.85 65---0.15 watch what happens next 2 days on aug calls and then the seopt call before 9-15--- it went up to 61 in after market today--burn this pattern in your mind make a 5 day intraday graph of anf and print it out as a reference. look at the 5-10 day intraday graphs on amat csco qqqq anf wpi de you will see many large volume spikes in the hours leading up to their earning announcement. the best money makers are the deep drop offs with massive botton volume like the ones i mentioned above

they are exploding up 55 aug calls 1.55-6.30 so far and the 60 calls are off the charts 0.15---1.55

I don't get it...according to your theory wouldn't you have shorted (puts) ANF at the close yesterday since it was near the top of the linear regression channels and volume had spiked up? What am I missing?

MARY4MONEY...What is your actual entry signal? ANF bottomed on high volume much earlier in the day than 2:00pm. Thanks for sharing!

MARY4MONEY, while we appreciate your willingness to share this strategy it is a little frustrating that you don't take the time to answer questions. While I understand the basic premise of the strategy can you be a little more specific as to what your entry trigger is?

max pull up a 3-5 day intraday graph on anf using 15-30 min intervals you will see on the 14th and 15th that it swung low several times both days with large volume spikes as compared to the day before the 14th
