Can the volume filter separate buyers and sellers.
As an example the following scan will give me all stocks that have a 200 percent increase over the last day:
"Show stocks where volume gained more than 200 percent over the last 1 day"
What I would like to do is further filter the results for stocks that had more sellers than buyers or vise a versa.

Every trade has a buyer AND a seller.

I don't think I was clear. I would like to be able to filter out days when the volume bar is red indicating more sellers than buyers.

You were very clear. As TRO said, there is buyer and a seller for every trade.
The market goes up and down based on "sentiment", not because there are more buyers or sellers.
Clear?

The volume bar is black when the close is above the previous close.
The volume bar is red when the close is below the previous close.
Not to be confused with the candle color.
You can have a red candle with black volume bar. This can occur when a stock gaps up and retraces but closes above the previous close.

FWIW, it's possible to have more individuals buying than selling, or vice-versa.One individual may sell 1000 shares and two individuals may buy 500 shares each.

corsino, you are correct.
However...
In time/sales you would see 2 transactions for 500 shares recorded.
You have no idea who sold and who bought.

...appears to be a bug here ... both of the above screens are showing the same results. And actually post the same screen, no matter which you click on.
copy and paste works ...so its something within the forums
