Apples and Oranges...
SF really doesn't have to be real time in order for you to make profitable trades.
Think about it...
1) You run your filter BEFORE the next market open. So you already have your basket of stocks to consider.
2) Any decent trading platform has alerts built in. QuoteTracker is free and front ends most brokers. It has price and volume alerts. It also has PAINTBAR, which is programmable and that gives you the ability to have custom signals right on your chart.
3) There are sites in existence, www.smallcapcenter.com for example, that give real time or slightly delayed signals of price/volume action.
So, though it may seem like having SF real time would be great idea, in reality, if one can't profitably trade the stocks from their filters now, real time SF isn't going to help.
Please keep in mind ALL TECHINICAL INDICATORS are based on PRICE, VOLUME or a combination of both. So looking at real time price/volume leaders and abnormal price/volume behavior is where your attention needs to be focussed.
Trading is identifying market/stock direction correctly and placing orders accordingly.
MAY ALL YOUR FILLS BE COMPLETE.
P.S. Life is short and nobody gets out of the game of live alive!
