I agree with TRO. By the way, I don't HATE Obama, just what he stands for.

Karennma, ....I think you are missing the point, TRO can probably make money in an up or down market, as can many others. Its not about the money or market direction, but rather the constant erosion of our freedoms.

I realize a lot of people are angry about the breach of their constitutional rights.
However, I see very FEW people DOING anything to stop what's happening. (except OWS)
What are other people DOING (besides OWS)?
Nothing!
I see people growing their own food and buying guns.
HOW is that going to change the collision course this country is on?
The entire two-party system is defective and corrupt.
And as long as we keep SUPPORTING it, nothing will change.
IMHO, the Nov. 6, 2012 election should be boycotted. NO ONE should vote.
But people will .. because Americans are creatures of habit; and they're delusional optimists.
They will vote on Nov. 6th, and sadly, continue to vote against what's in their best interest.
So, if you DO nothing else ...
I hope you made a lot of money last year, and will continue to do so.

Uh .. Hello? Since Obama's been in office, the DOW has DOUBLED.
YOU ... yes, YOU have had the freedom to trade this market the past 3 years, and make MILLIONS.
The rise in this market has been UNPRECEDENTED.
THAT!! .. you should be grateful for.
YOU have a talent and had an opportunity that few people could take advantage of.
Be grateful!

Grateful for our CONSTITUTION being ignored and our LIBERTY and FREEDOM vanishing right before our eyes?
You're joking, right?
What good is making money if you are free to keep ALL OF IT?
Face the facts, if you are an American, you are NOT free - you must pay (ever increasing) taxes to the government, and THAT makes you a servant/slave to the system.
WAKE UP AMERICA AND SMELL THE HYPOCRISY!!

Internet rants are all well and good. But my question is ... What are you going to DO about it?

This thread is FOUR years old. It started out as a rant about "illegals" ... who within 5 years will OUTNUMBER US citizens.
NOTHING was done.
Now, people are b*tchin' about their constitutional rights being trampled.
I repeat ...
WHAT are you going to do about it?
Same as the illegal immigrant issue?
NOTHING.
Keep voting. Sheeple!

TRO,
" Grateful for our CONSTITUTION being ignored and our LIBERTY and FREEDOM vanishing right before our eyes? "
Must be that everyone believed George Bush, who said, - - - - - "It's just a piece of paper".

A revolution is needed.... but revolutions do not occur unless a majority of people are denied basic needs - - - food, water, shelter. When we get to that point, a revolution will occur, and change will occur. Too many people are content...

This is a well documented statement from Obama in January 2001:
"The Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society. And to that extent, as radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, as least as it's been interpreted, and [sic] Warren Court interpreted in the same way that, generally, the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties, says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf."
Negative civil liberties. Think hard about that.
Unfortunately, we have been traveling toward the cliff for a number of years. Obama just has his foot on the gas.
I heard someone say that we have a single party system with two faces. That may be truer than we think. There are many lemmings on both sides of the aisle. I don't believe that not voting is the answer. Voting likely is the answer. We need more of what happened in the elections of 2010.
