Hello StockFetcher suport
I think the optionable stock filter is not working quite right.
Symbol BABA is most definitely optionable but won't show up on this simple scan
take the optionable argument line out and it shows in the listing
This is the only one I found - but didn't look too much more.
This one took a bit of time to find. It was not showing up in my scan and I knew it was optionable

The suggested change still doesn't pick up BABA in the scan. Thanks though
In checking a little more, these optionable symbols are missing from the $75 to $80 list as well.

GUSH
PNQI

If you use SF to scan for optionable stocks be aware you're going to miss a lot of them
In comparing SF optionable stocks between $10 and $300 ...
SF shows 2563 and another scan service shows 3560
That's an error of 997 missed symbols just in this price range.
SF hasn't posted a reply to this so looks like they aren't able to fix it.

Any idea how often optionable stocks are updated?
I sell calls on weekly options, getting my list from CBOE. I update once a month as some stocks move on and off the list depending on volume, open interest, etc.
Last update I downloaded 630 weekly optionable stocks. When I put the "optionable" line in my filter, it only returns 589.
This tells me I am missing a lot of optionable stocks in some of my other filters where I use "optionable".

why wold BABA (over $200) show up on a scan wherein price is limited to between x and y (both under $100)? am i missing something?

You've run into one of the SF Gotchas, the original posts were circa 2016, when BABA was much lower in price, however, SF always updates the charts related to posts to current day status where BABA is much higher.
