AAPL is on the MTC CHECKER today.
RIMM has not been moving like it has in the past but you can still milk RIMM.

Why would you still milk RIMM if it is no longer on the checker? I missed a huge long on NFLX today while I was fooling around with WYNN :-(

Hope this doesnt post twice.
Love TRO's theory here. I trade cheaper stocks than Apple though so I have change the filter a bit to suit my needs. thought others might find it interesting. TRO was looking to 50cents gain. trading lower priced stocks I decided to change that to 2% or 3%.
SO the new colums indicate how oftern a stock made a 2% and a 3% gain and also loss. it also adds colums for the average # of times it made the 3% (short and long as well I have added a column for long short diff.
If these colums show a negative number then that stock has lost 2 or3% more oftern than gained 2 or 3% and is therefore statistically a better short
If the number is positive then it is statistically a better long. Feel free to edit and use for your own needs.

Worth repeating...
You can enter a long trade anywhere from open + $.10 to open + $.20.. after that you are chasing.
This works on the stocks that I call COWS - stocks that have the stats that say, if price moves $.10 chances are it will move $.50 or more.
