Post away TXT.A perfect example of a BB squeeze is IMM(check it out on the screen backtest).IMM found a base at 10 with tight BBs and started into an uptrend.Shoot me back some EME,SMA,DMA filters,I don't have any good ones.

Wonder if GADZ is sold out and finally reached bottom,BBs squeezing hard now and channel in slight uptrend.Check out Yearly chart,GADZ was in same situation before.Year/Weekly shows Stochastics crossed and slight uptrend, bottom of channel is a buck.NENG is surprising!

Thank you both for your posts concerning bollinger band squeezes.
FWIW here is my contribution.
My scan is set up to limit the number of hits, as you can see, by the narrow price range and the volume requirement plus I tend to trade nasdaq. Of course, change these as you see fit.
However, no matter the number of hits returned, you can quickly pick the strongest possibilities, IMHO, as follows.
1. Ignore stocks that are "flat lining" such as BNBN ONTC & SATH
2. Eliminate stocks where the RSI(14) is trending down.
3. Eliminate stocks where +DI(14) and ADX are trending down.
4. SELECT those stocks where +DI(14) is above -DI(14) and ADX is rising and RSI(14) should also be rising.
Take a look at this scan with a 5, 6, 7 and 8 day offset.
Also note that some stocks that don't 'qualify' per selection rules above may be worth putting on a short term watch list until the indicators mentioned turn positive.
Comments welcome.

Petro my analysis sez GADZ probably will head south Monday....
NENG is in a strong uptrend and may go higher.....NENG is the best choice.

Tested your filter today 1/24/2004 with no offset......
GNVC.....RSI(2)is at 100...exit time.
VLGC.....Weak uptrend may go either way.
SATH.....That's what I call flatlining.
BVEW.....Early entry right here...(Best Choice)

GADZ is an interesting chart been going down 8 weeks and looks flat for 4 weeks
think it might be flat for awhile yet but i think i heard about it on foxstocks
today worth keeping an eye on if it goes back up to where it started to fall
welp you do the math..
(not a trade reccomendation)

One thing for sure, when it comes out of that BB squeeze it got to go somewhere, and according to my early indicators, it could ride the upper BB for a while.
Looks good webviper.
