My Dad fought in the Korean war.
My wife and I both wear mask's when we go to the grocery store's.

Warren Buffett’s preferred stock-market gauge hit a 30-month high this week, signalling worldwide equities are overvalued and may be due for a correction.

The global version of the “Buffett indicator” – which compares the value of the world’s stocks to global GDP – zoomed past 100% for the first time since February 2018.

Warren Buffett's favourite market indicator soars to 30-month high, signalling global stocks are overpriced

People are LEAVING the U.S.
I don't know where they're going, tho', cause everything is f'd up everywhere!

This is what happens when your democratic form of government is being dismantled.

Yes, there is serious disconnect , most likely due to election manipulation.
At the last post-FOMC press conference, Fed Chair Powell became a tool of the White House.
No more independence of the Fed and monetary policy.

But I still have to take responsibility for going to cash too much and too soon.
I still have no regret because of the old saying
IT'S BETTER TO WISH WE ARE IN, than TO WISH WE ARE OUT.

NOT A POLITICAL COMMENT, JUST DECENT HUMANITY HERE: I am worried that
Trump will put election above country, economy above lives.

That's called politics.
Keep in mind that when you're voting, you're voting for a "politician", not a saint.
Ever heard the joke, "What's an oxymoron?" Answer: "Honest politician".
Democrat or Republican - It doesn't matter. Either way, you're voting for a politician.
I already voted, but if I hadn't ... I'd consider NOT voting at all.
It's unlikely I'll ever vote again.
I guess because of my age, I find the current "reality" disturbing.
Too much "1984" for me.
And, BTW, you should be "worried" ... These are frightening times.
I PRAY a lot.

I pray a lot, too.
I was raised believing that without prayers, things could be worse.

@karennma,

Sometimes, I corresponded with some StockCharts public chartlist authors

Some authors published charts to take the hard edge of their lives.
Some authors suffered from terminal illnesses, others' retirement dreams suddenly changed
when their lifelong partners suffered from debilitating illnesses.
Some asked for my prayers.
A few nice authors urged me to save any of their charts that I liked
because they will sign off forever soon,
which I did and they did.

So, I try to enjoy every day the Lord has made for me.

=======================================

Apparently, and anecdotally, some fairly well off Americans
moved to selected countries south of the USA and S E Asia
(decent and more affordable housing and health care,
higher living standards, etc)
Whole communities of ex-pats live there.
Needless to say, beware of smooth talking swindlers of all kinds
