Dear StockFetcher, I read in one of our forum threads someone stated you, StockFetcher, do have the option(s) of getting the Backtesting tool. This forum person was stating you, StockFetcher, have 3 Backtesting options based on price, the basic, the mid, and the premium versions of Backtesting. Is this true? If it is, why haven’t you informed us of this in your “Announcement” section in our Forum. Please get back to me ASAP. Thank you.

Re-read Cheese’s earlier post on the 3 possible backtesting options for SF it was a suggestion only, unfortunately.

Thank you Nibor100 for that heads-up. Great suggestion by the way. I hope StockFetcher seen it and is thinking about instituting those ideas.

If the point price for sF backtesting of years past is still cost prohibitive,
Stockfetcher could use existing apps to offer "pre-fab" backtesting results,
similar to what a trading book or paid trading education / training sites
may offer.
"Pre-fab" means TEST ONCE, SELL MANY, and may be offered à la carte
For example, price for one best setting for one stock in past one year period
Best MACD settings in 2019 for AAPL ............................ $ 0.99
Best Slow Stochastics settings in 2019 for ZM ................ $ 0.99
or could be offered as a bundle
Best settings BUNDLE for NASDAQ100 in 2019 ............. $99.99
"Best" means backtest results with highest win-rate
Keep in mind that sometimes, Thomas Bulkowski might consider a backtest result
that is true 56% to 63% of the time an edge. Many results may be at the 51% to 53% level,
which would seem more realitic and honest than some results found in this forum's archives.
An edge that could come true only 56% to 63% of the time might be a reason to keep prices
affordabe to many subscribers. Stockfetcher pricing would make money on volume.
I hope Stockfetcher will give considerations to backtesting.
The programs are already written. Why shelve when you can sell?
Thanks.

Resistance and support trend line breakout alerts would be nice. That way one can be alerted when resistance or support is broken and can be traded to how ever one is trading.
