Does anyone use obv in their filters? And, if so, how are your results? Could anyone offer me advice on building a filter using it? Thanks much, Frank
jpistell 123 posts msg #34887 - Ignore jpistell	1/14/2005 2:21:59 PM olds, OBV is a trend following indicator. If you use it for bottom fishing, a bullish divergence would be a good signal. (example: see POWI right here at $17.32) Take a look at VWMACD also. All I've ever used obv for is to confirm a price over over a MA. example: Fetcher[ show stocks were price is above 4 and avgvol(90) is > 100000 and obv 10 days ago has been below cwma(obv,50) for the last 40 days and obv has crossed above cwma(obv,50) within the last 9 days draw cema(pp,50) and date offset is 48 ] G'Luck, Trader Joe
