Edward de Bono's Message for Today - 25th June 2006
In the game of backgammon the throw of the dice indicates the number of moves a player is allowed. But the player decides how to allocate these moves between their different playing pieces. The winner is the player who can make the best use of chance. Bookmakers earn their living by maximizing on chance. They benefit from the difference between the perception of risk and the actual probability of risk. Although we are frequently victims of chance and uncertainty we can also use them to our benefit.

That's one reason why I run statistics on the stocks I trade.

TRO
I am fairly new to trading - what do you mean when you say you "run statistics" on the stocks you trade.
I would appreciate your response

If you search my posts you will find many display filters I created that tell you statistics on stocks. Statistics.. how many days out of the last 100 days a stock did X.
The PRICE VOLUME display would be a good place to start.
Then look at the work I have been doing on the MIDDLE.
HTH.
