I would like to search for stocks with a 15 minute time frame where I can identify stocks which have increasing volume during the last 4 time periods of 15 minutes. Example" show stocks which have been increasing in volume for 4 out of the last 5, 15 minute time periods. This may be able to show stocks moving up on volume near the days close which may carry over into tomorrows up volume move ???

Stockfetcher does not use intraday data - end-of-day only. Sorry.

you can do that scan with td ameritrades software strategy desk, i think your quest will prove fruitless though, even though there is supposedly very small volume after hours, often there is a flood of data between the 5 minute candle at 1555 and the end of day, that end of day data will only show at beginning of next day 930 am.

StockFetcher:
Quotes delayed during active market hours.
Delay times are at least 15 mins for NASDAQ, 20 mins for NYSE and Amex.
Delayed intraday data provided by DDFPlus

To see above:
Run any filter.
Found at the bottom of the page under the disclaimer.

I've never seen a filter or screen for last hour volume increase, but what I would do instead is buy into a high volume, high percentage increase day mover on close. Most trading platforms have these basic screens. The only thing is,it would be for the total day,but if you broke down each one on a 15 min chart, you can see if increased volume came in the last hour. The next thing you want to do is see if you come up with positive results after trading it a few times, under various market conditions.I'm assuming you're looking for follow through the next day.The way the market has been recently, there's been very little consistency in any stock following through. If you find something, let me know, because this has been one of my bread & butter set ups.Hope that helps..

I use it daily. My biggest complaint is that it has no searchable forum, which would be of help for swing and position traders, The current chat room is mostly daytrading with a lot of usless chatter. It will be much more powerful when they finally get a forum where traders can exchange ideas.
