Why not post it on here instead of having to answer a slew of emails? Of course people want to see your method (you don't answer your emails, anyway).
Glad to see you posting again M4M. It's always fun watching the exchange between others and you. Kinda puts a bit of spice into an otherwise somewhat dull forum.

To jbrtrader: Since Mary doesn't respond directly (no offense intended), would you mind posting "soir method combined with your oversold rsi(2) filter?"
Thank you ... Steve

do a forum search on "soir". Posted back in the summer I think. It's a screen on investpedia.

SAFeTRADE: I didn't get anywhere using "soir" as a search term on SF or google. Any other suggestions?

I think "soir" is in reference to Schaeffersresearch.com's "Schaeffers open interest ratio" screen, but I don't know the "soir method".

Sorry I didn't respond earlier,I'll try to explain the best I can of what I am doing from reading M4M post back in 6/07.What I do is locate optionable stocks pulling back from a recent uptrend using rsi(2),(low single digits),then plug the symbol into Schaeffer's quote box. From there I select market tools for the put/call open interest(soir data),looking at that I wanna see if the soir is unwinding from an extreme high to a low reading.Once that looks good I go back and click on "open interest configuration to see how the calls are stacking against the puts looking for sudden shifts in the day to day call interest making sure the call pace is out numbering the puts.I like sudden increases in calls with the option price closing in the red .I stalk the options while waiting for a reversal candlestick and trying to buy the calls as cheap as I can,and as close to in the money as I can with as much time as I can get.I suggest you keep trying to locate all of M4M prevoius post on options because I might not be doing exactly what he taught. Also I spent a whole lot of time on Schaeffer's site to get a good feel of the soir and the other tools available there, very good site I'd say.Hope this helps, its not one particular way or method its more of putting all pieces together.
