Is it possible to make a filter that scans for stocks that have a divergence between price and rsi levels (compared to a previous very similar price level with different RSI 2 levels) is this someothing that can be coded with SF
thanks

Someone else said that, and all hell broke loose in the forum. lol....but I can't take credit for it b/c someone else posted the divergence part. But I knew when I saw it....it was a diamond in the rough. By far, the best divergence filter posted to date! Hands down......

I don't think there ever will be a filter that you just buy the stocks as they show up.... There is too much catalyst crap that happens so you need to focus, focus, focus...
I can remember when i first figured out sma's. i thought i was the best trader alive...

The filter produced by WALLSTREETGENIUS looks good. My question though is this. Has your question above really been answered? If I understand it right ( and maybe i don't)you are looking for a filter that would tell you when a stock that has a price A on the way down and a RSI(2) of 5% has a positive divergence in the RSI(2)of say 80% because the RSI(2) on the stock at the same price point of A on the way back up after a decline is 85%. I have just recently come across this idea in my reading on RSI(2),but if I understand it right the idea is that the bigger the positive divergence in the RSI(2) at the same price point the more "energy' there is to continue to go higher.
Is this right? Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks
Jimski

Maxxam, I would have to agree with you that I believe you can pretty much buy the stocks this filter produces. Good idea to wait until the end of the trading day.
