Thank Rump for giving us this nice filter. I just added the last line to it as the trigger. Simple but effective. It creates a condition that something is going to happen and it could be nice. My backtest is set to a time frame that was in a positive stock environment months ago.

if you want it to go UP just use Rumps original filter with the trigger line. That way you got both scenarios, UP and DOWN. You might find a better trigger than this one. If so let us know. You just need a good trigger thats in a ripe setting for good day or short term trading. Since this is the environment we are in now. The only game in town.

This is pretty cool for both finding upward slopes and downward slopes. I understand that one of the original ideas of this search was to be able to play against the bounces off the trend. But, in the spirit of "profiting at the turn" is there a way to have SF find stocks that have the Moving Average going sideways for say the last week or two and then find stocks whose Moving average begins to slope up or down. It looks like we are consolidating here in this bear market and it would be great to find stocks whose Moving average is now turning one way or the other and are just starting a new 45 degree angle.
Thanks
