the former post duscussed about divergence, but i'm looking for a little simplier one, which should give very reliable turning points (and i'm not trying to reinvent the wheel...).
please, anyone who can help to build one, i'm looking (and also for the sack of you, guys)for 2 screens. one which capture divergence between prices and macd histogram, and the other between prices and bear power.
it looks impossible (may be not ?) to combine the 2 screens.
screen one - prices droping (lower lows) for the last 50 days while histogram is below zero and rising (shalower lows) for the same prices lows.
screen two - prices droping (lower lows) for the last 50 days while bear power is below zero and rising (shalower lows) for the same prices lows.
screen three (?) - divergence between price and histogram and bear power (?). not too crowded ?
will give close between 5 and 50 and avarage volume (30) above 150000. all numbers are changeable.
well, i guess its a hell of a challenge. i must admit that i couldnt build it by myself.
thanks buddys.

AH...Marine2, in case you haven't noticed, "divergence" is NOT avery's best subject. But I'm dying to see all his pretty bells and whistles.
[count=pie-by,the:3rd+power=monkee-In=Rocket,count]LOL!

Not to worry, I'm just tweaking one last part. Everything I do is under such scrutiny so when I blast one off, I have to make sure it's a sure fire filter, otherwise the bashers start spellchecking me. LOL...You understand don't you? I should have it to you no later than tomorrow night. I think you'll like it. It's nothing like I've ever done before,and becoming a real challenge. See ya soon....

Riggs:
I understand divergence.. However, I don't think you do. You have yet to define divergence in your own words. You allude to "looking for a stock to show divergence". Even you own filter returns stocks that DO NOT have POSITIVE DIVERGENCE.
So, in your own words, Riggs, define divergence.

I don't want you to think I forgot about your filter. In fact, it's been my new prodject the last couple of days, and I have to tell ya....it's been an incredible challenge to get both screens on one filter. But I'm getting closer I think, and when it's done, I believe it's gonna be another one of those dominating filters. So stay tuned....this filter is becoming fun.
