This is by most accounts the definitive book on this subject, and thanks to the internet you can have it for free.
You may also want to check out TradeGuider.com, which has software that fully automates this approach. Real-time software is $4999.95, and end-of-day is $2499.95.

FWIW.... the pdf book Kevin references is the 3rd Edition. Most find it accurate, but has become complicated and unclear.
The original works is by far the best, but hard to come by. The Original version was published in the UK, in 1996 and has a Red Stop sign on the front / published by Genie Software.
