Follow this suggested formula and you should stay in the game a very long time.

MAXIMUM RISK = 2% * ACCOUNT BALANCE.

MAXIMUM STOP LOSS = 2% * STOCK PRICE. (INCLUDING SPREAD)

POSITION SIZE = RISK / STOP LOSS.


As your stop loss increases, your position size decreases.
