8/18/2011 9:15:17 PM Today for example : FAS was DOWN over 14% TYP was UP over 15% ----- That's a pretty damn good "hedge" where I come from !!! ----- In fact ... I actually made money on this god awful "shitstorm" of a day ... AND ...I slept well last night ... ...knowing that I was prepared for WHATEVER today's OPEN should bring ! ----- I'm not trying for some esoteric "Delta Neutral" trading situation here ! I'm ALSO not trying to be a hero here ! There is a time to MAKE money ... AND ... there is a time to NOT LOSE money !!! Right here ... Right now ... Enjoying this thread by the way, it has made me more aware of the implications of tails when looking at charts. |
