"What you are seeing, is all four of these plotted together on one chart. TheRumpledOne developed this, but I tinkered with it to perfection. "

LOL!!

I'm sorry Avery...Did you read something funny? Why don't you take the filter "I fixed" and offset it 1 thru 10. I think only THEN you'll have to agree, that yes....."I tinkered with it to perfection!" And BTW, don't get too excited when see a little "red." Most of those already had a run-up that fast. Company's like CME,SFG,INSP,ASMI,CAI,DSPG,ILSE,NGPS,CMI,SINA & UNFI, just to name a few. That's how good "MY" version of "Warm" is....

Oh...but we know..."IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT." LOL....

10-DAY OFFSET:

Fetcher[close is above 20
60-day slope of close is above 0
Draw Williams %R(7) line at 0
average volume(90)is above 150000
sort column 8 ascending
offset 4/13/06

and draw ccval on plot wrval

I find DMI crossvers very sensitive to the market.

I used to use a simple double-MA crossover to determine entry points. I now use a DMI crossover. It seems to predict a movement earlier than MA.

For example, in the EOD forex I have found DMI(12) crossovers to yield good positions.

I am happy you learned how to use the filter display.

" ["ccval" is CCI. Better known as Commodity Channel Index:
Works very similiar like RSI, but gives quicker reads and divergence.] "

-----------------------------------

Just an observation...CCI is NOT nearly as much like "RSI"...as it is...a proxy for "Bollinger Bands".

Actually, it's not that much like RSI...AT ALL !!!

-----------------------------------

CCI...first calculates "typical price" (H + L + C /3)...then calculates an "Average of Typical Price"...then CCI calculates and displays the extent (median deviation) that typical price deviates from the "Average of Typical Price" !

Sound somewhat familiar ?

CCI = Proxy for Bollinger Bands

-------------------------------------

CCI Rocks !!!

Regards,

alf44

PS. BTW...when you think of it..."typical price" (H+L+C/3) is...the Daily Pivot Calculation (PP). So...when you thonk about it...

...CCI is REALLY...just a measure of how the Daily Pivot...deviates around an Average of the Daily Pivot !!!

I'm thinking...that is valuable information to know and be aware of !!!

I'm ALSO thinking that there is a basis for a profitable trading system there !

Further, I'm thinking we don't even have to re-invent anything...cause the CCI ALREADY exists !!!

alf,

I agree. I get good results by finding stocks in a long term uptrend, and where CCI(14) crossed above -100. This finds the stocks that are ready to resume their uptrend from a short pullback.

Hola from Mexico!

Weather is great.

I just got a notice from one of my friends who has been posting on
TradeStation that Stephan Pepe threatened to ban her.

Seems like TS really has it out for me.

Perhaps Stephan needs to hear from you some more!!

There are over 200 members of this forum and I am sure his inbox and
voicemail would get pretty full if most of you contacted him.

I will win this and your support will make it that much easier.

THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE.

Time to go get some tacos...Adios.

Riggs is nothing more than a joke to anyone who has paid any attention to his posts, banter, and ego. He obviously was an abused child or has 'little man' syndrome. While it's pretty pathetic, I don't fault him much. Everyone has their crutch; it's just that he annoys 90% of the community.

Befrsehour,

I agree with what you said 100%. RIGGS (or whatever his name is) is a disgrace for this forum. His condescending, arrogant and impolite manner here IS annoying for the vast majority of posters who ARE enjoying an exchange based on decency, common respect and politeness. A good dose of modesty would also help him a lot, but he will never be able to do that. He needs all this neurotic acting out for his ego. But is this forum the right place to let him do that?

Tom, are you reading this ?
