I want to trade stocks and keep them for 5-10 days. Which time period is
better suited for stochastics for this trading.

I was thinking about using 5 but then I believe that is too volatile.
I have also looked at 21. Any other rules to follow like oversold and overbought levels for different time periods.


Any other recommendations.

Try 'slow stochastics 5/3'. The relatively fast timing works well with the smoothed 'slow stochastics'.
