No, I didn't. But I can't get a useful application of OBV on my trading platform...no overlays, etc.

Riggs,
What's your "triple?" I've only been with SF for a few days now.

Here are some other examples I've noticed:
PHM triggered late yesterday had had a decent rise
OMAB triggered two days ago and has been rising since
CIT kinda triggered(it was close) last night but has been rising well today
HOKU was another good one that triggered middle of the day yesterday and rose today.

The problem is it's not perfect yet and I'm still trying to see how to make it better

The 1209 article about the MA. I'm assuming he was just talking about using the Simple Moving Average and not the linear or exponential.

Excellent article TRO. Although I don't use stochastics the 50ma trending up/down is a critical element in my filters in terms of weeding out the best buy/sell candidates.

Yes, the simple 50 period moving average... but ma or ema that's not what matters... it's the HOW TO TRADE that is the crux of the issue. Showing when to trade with the trend so you can enter at a "discount"!!

Simple 2 indicator system that is profitable.

Hey Max... glad you enjoyed.

It's just a simple HOW TO TRADE lesson. The oscillator used really isn't important. Of course, I would prefer to use RSI(2) .

The article pointed out WHEN NOT TO TRADE a signal from the oscillator. To me, that is most important part.

SFO magazine is free. Each edition usually has a couple of articles worth reading.
