  does anybody know a good scan setup to find stocks under 5 dollars that have had a major selloff and bottomed out and getting ready to do a reversal

  Jimmy,try a basic filter that finds stocks making either 90 day lows/180 day lows or 52 wk lows.Add in volume 100% increase or better from prior day.Remember one thing about catching new lows and picking bottoms,"new lows most of the time continue to make new lows".Put the stock on a watch list as it drops.Pick a strong reversal day where the stock trades above the high of the previous day.Go long,set a tight stop,and pray.PS: On my watch list waiting for a pop SAPX.Good luck,Miketranz.......

  here's one of my pinch scans, the pinch is the PPO, and ADX line coming together

 [daily sma(20,daily volume) > 40000] and [daily rsi(14) <= 30] and [daily rsi(2) >= 25] and [daily rsi(5) >= 25] and [daily plus di(14) <= 15] and [daily ppo line(12,26,9) <= -50] and [daily adx line(14) >= 55] and [daily williams %r(14) <= -70]

  James
 I like the scan Ravi has suggested. By adding 1 more line Close < 5 will meet your requirements I believe.
