M4M: The Think or swim website seems too complicated to me. Could you please walk through or illustrate with some charts as to how you set up these 3 parameters that you mention in your Lesson 7 thread? Thanks
Cheers

the_trade123,
Use Prophet Charts on the TOS platform, that's the simplest one to get going with.
Look for Help
Look for Prophet Charts Guide
This will help you with all sorts of things I don't cover here.
To get Moving Averages etc on the chart:
Studies
Apply Studies
Drag LRC, Moving averages etc. to the Chart.
To change Moving Average numbers:
Click Studies
Apply studies
Click on the MA you want to change
Change the number
Click on the color
Change the color
Save.
To use indicators such as MACD, RSI etc:
Studies
Apply Studies
Add Pane
Drag Indicator to the blank pane
Click Save Study
Give it a name
Go back to Studies anytime to pull up this study.
To change settings on MACD, RSI etc:
Drag MACD 2 Line (or another MACD study) to blank pane
Click on 8,17,9 (the default)
Type in 2, 3, 1 or any other numbers you want
Click on Color
Click the color you prefer
Click MACD and Signal for more options
Save
You can add as many studies as you want using this method.
You can set the chart exactly how you want it to appear in Preferences.
Also look at the Log In box if you don't want a black background.
Hold cursor over the buttons across the bottom to see what each will do.
It's really easy to draw with these tools, click the button and drag. Right click on the line to remove. Easy.
To get color bars and volume click on Quick Toggles and check or uncheck.
HTH and best of luck.
