Suppose I create a watchlist containing stocks that I believe are so unpredictible I never want to include these stocks with ones I select in my filter. Is there a way of excluding a watchlist from filter results?
Thanks ... Steve

Thank you, nikoschopen. Is there a way to use this exclusion in backtesting?

No, I don't believe there is an option to opt out of certain watchlist. In order to do so, you would need a phrase like do not apply to watchlist(), a request for which others have asked in the past but has yet to be implemented (certainly no surprise in that).
