I'm wondering if there is a way to filter for stocks that are making a new 10 day low but not more than 10 days. The filter "Price has reached a new 10 day low" will return stocks that are not only making new 10 day lows but stocks that are making new lows in excess of 10 days. Is there a way to limit this? I want to find stocks that are down from recent highs and eliminate stocks that are in prolonged downtrends. Thanks!

I am also new to SF. It seems like you are looking for stocks that are generally trending up (for some time period), but have temporarily dipped over the last 10 days. You can vary the duration for the increasing slope of the price
show stocks that have reached a new 10 day low and 30 day slope of price is above 0
Hope this helps!

James0264,
Can you use the count() function to get what you're looking for?
(Change price and volume to suit your needs...)
The first line makes sure that a new 10 day low has been reached only once in the past 10 days, and the second line checks that the one time was "yesterday".
HTH,
C
