According to the instructional video I would think this is a scalping strategy. I guess the idea behind it is that candles usually have wicks and the daily low was at some time in the session also an hourly low.
One thing to keep in mind is that in forex open and previous close for the session are almost always the same as this is a continuous market.

I do love the dashboard used in the video. I have something similar to track movements on different timeframes but I built it in Excel, pulling data from the API. Big pain in the ass to maintain, every new candle I have to load all new historical data into my database (fortunately found a script for that) and then have to refresh all data (and always get an excel-can't-locate-something error). I also suspect it of eating memory.

The HOLO filter is for stocks not for FOREX. I was testing to see if it will work for stocks.
I see there are still some TRO HATERS on SF.

Shanty? Too funny. Yes, my shanty that is bought and paid for on 40 acres of land which is a 20 minute drive from the Pacific ocean. I wonder what they live in and where they live. Mommy's basement? LMAO!!
Yes, I borrow DVDs from the library. And I used to go to thrift stores to find bargains. Have way too much stuff now. Haven't been in almost 2 years.
These people who HATE TRO must be in politics because they attack the messenger rather than discuss the message.
