It's an intellectual curiosity at the moment for me. It appears to act like an overbought and oversold indicator and it gives me a sense of price volatility and possible reversal areas. I threw the other indicators in to see how they synchronize. I'm well into analysis paralysis with it. I'm not exactly sure how to trade it at the moment or backtest it. It might work well with stocks that range up and down. I'm not sure, yet. By all means, pls feel free to study it.

This is an awesome filter when used correctly. Chet, it looks allot like my Billy60.

E, I use the "close above jp_cloud_top" it's a momo filter that captures the beginning of the move. It spewed stocks like EXM, NLST which had great moves this week plus lots of other setups like GGWBQ etc.

MAYBE I WASN'T CLEAR, E. THE JP CLOUD IS MY INTERPETATION OF JP'S TREND INDICATOR ON HIS CHART POSTED ON PAGE 1 OF THIS THREAD.
I CALLED IT CLOUD IN RELATION TO THE ichimoku CHARTING SYSTEM, WHICH TO ME IS A BASIC PREMISE THAT THERE IS A NO MANS ZONE IN TRADING.

MARY, I have made over $800,000 in the last few months using your methods, but I have to say you are very scattered in your methods and manners of sharing.
I am no teacher either, but I would recommend at least doubling the amount of threads created and NEVER answer a request for info in the same thread it was asked.
Stay elusive.....it makes the challenge worth the reward.

>>>>>>>good interpretation Jp...but how would you catch momo stocks heading down?<<<<<<<<<<<
i use "close below jp_cloud_bottom" for possible setups to keep an eye on for that move up...what do you think?
