I want to write a filter to find a list of the stocks which gapped up, say 5%, and then pulled back to the initial gap.
For example: TUP, gapped up on good earnings, and the opening price for the gap was 45, the closed at about 47. It spent the next few days consolidating, and now moved back to about 45. It is certainly a good support right at that price. The risk is very well defined.
I wonder if anyone has written similar filter before.
Thanks very much.
