If I want to write a script that will look back to Apr. 3, 2008 for the search to execute on that day.

 I included this line:

 Date offset is 04/03/08

 But it didn't work.

 What am I missing?

  NOTHING. POST THE ENTIRE FILTER.

IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER "DATE OFFSET IS 0" LINE SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE FILTER, NOT A GOOD THING.

The first time I simply used 04/03/08. Second time I used 04/03/2008. That must be the difference.

Purpose of search: On 4/3/08 Vector Vest had a Conf Up signal. I wanted to be able to see how the Top 10 stocks performed that day. Except with S.F. I don't think I can decipher that. ????

either way works for me. was the 1st a saved filter and the 2nd an edited saved filter? now that's a difference.

The 2nd attempt was a saved, edited filter. Why do you ask?

DATE OFFSETS DON'T WORK IN SAVED FILTERS ONLY UNSAVED EDITED FILTERS.

Why only in edited, unsaved filters? What am I missing here?
