 Sorry but I'm not trying to hijack this thread but.

 Sorry but I just never did go for the Weinstein stuff as I thought it was too lagging . I

 I'm more into the Guppy MMA's a background and the interaction with the two groups.
 BB 20
 Keltner 20
 MA 15 over MA 15 one day ago
 MA 20 over MA 20 one day ago which is middle Bollinger bands - Bullish sign
 RSI 14 above 50.00  = Bullish sign
 Ema 5 cross Ema 13 = Bullish sign - which this combination is subject to change.

 Even TQQQ and SPY show the long term power of Guppy MMA's. It just depend what kind of triggers one use as to what they want to be in.

 and if you want to play the downside like SQQQ.

 Thanks, Mac
 Your Bollinger %B did not seem to track prices as well as your Guppys, RSI and MACD
 How do you use your Bollinger %B ?

 @cheese
 That's Bollinger width 20 and line at 6 month low. I have that for use on Rattlesnake breakouts where the Bollinger Bands are inside Keltner bands and BB width is near 6 month lows. I don't use that indicator when looking for trend change breakouts where the 2 Guppy groups intersect with each other .

 @cheese,

 1. I just ran Graftonian's filter from the 1st post of this thread for 1 month ago.

 Results were 35 gainers out of 44 results, for 80% winners, avg gain 16%, top 2 gainers over 100%
 9 losers avg loss -5% with largest loser -25%.

 2. On the basis of that one test I would say its not "useless" however its goal/approach probably requires some individual analysis as:

 a. it seems that the triggers being used are counts of 'Days Since' a given trigger occurred within the past 21 days from filter run date, not sure why 21 was chosen other than it represents the past month of trading

 b. doesn't seem to looking for the first day that all 3 triggers are true, so could be hitting some trends much later than one would hope for

 c. If memory serves me correctly, there are some more desired conditions that Weinstein looked for in stocks starting a stage 2 upward trend.

 Probably not much help,
 Ed S.

 @nibor100

 Thank you very much, Ed S

 If you can spare some time during TV commercials of your favorite sports programs,
 could you please just run graftonian's Weinstein filters of June 24, 2019 and July 21, 2019?

 I really like graf's ideas but I could not see the results.

 Just run once is all I could ask, and give me your impressions of the filters.

 Thank you kindly.

 @nibor 100

 Ed,

 Thanks for your informative posts. I would appreciate the above as well. I think Weinstein's
 contributions are still valuable.
