13th_floor------I appreciate the time you spend answering questions and sharing your trading information. I have dabbled in the market over the years. Read all of Stock Fercher. You can fry your brain on this stuff. But after reading, studying several books and forums, I always came back to Muddy's approach and in the last week or so you turned the light on.
Thanks,
lizzydog

MESA sinking down to .5711
47% gain from 1.085 short entry
SSBX at 3.26 from 4.10 short entry
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Lizzy,
Did you see MXC today,it's a super low floater with only 1,767 outstanding shares.
In chat way before market open:
(May 16-8:40) Wpg: PDO crazy
(May 16-8:41) 13th_FLOOR: yeah PDO is a short squeeze,so is MXC
(May 16-13:18) 13th_FLOOR: MXC short squeeze still on
(May 16-15:59) 13th_FLOOR: MXC huge short squeeze +40%
Open around 14.90, closed at 19.65 ...it's been a spam email and paid to promote stock and when it comes down it's probably gonna come down hard as these usually do but as long as it stays green you gotta respect it.
8 up days in a row from 8.60 to 19.65, I'd say the pump has worked.
It goes red I'll be scrambling to find short shares.
FWIW, KYUS a pump and fluff pr's have sent this upward since 5/8 and today it had its first red day since then.
Vol has exploded the last few days to over 2 mil!
Profit takers from over the last few days may be stepping in and the fall could be nice.
Could be a great short.

Do you have a volume filter on that? My list never quite matches up. Here is what I'm currently using
show stocks where the average day range(10) is above 8 percent
close is between 1 and 15
average volume(90) above 50000
average volume(10) above 250000
offset is 0
edit: I may have figured it out

johnny,
In case you haven't figured it out go back to the 1st page of this thread, I even gave you the scan :)
The combo must start with the basic RFR scan AND then you take the ADR(30) above 8% from THAT scan.
This is what I said:
"These stocks are at least 8% ADR(30) AND have run at least 10 times in the last 100 days over 10% in a day."

13th_floor-------
the same except rdn roiak pfb ifc dfr
then your five i did not have btrx rtk kog ent csgh----but when I compared
them it seems the overiding factor is the amount of times they they ran
10--19% Is this correct?
thanks

lizzy,
"it seems the overiding factor is the amount of times they they ran
10--19% Is this correct? "
Well yes because in order to qualify to be ranked by ADR(30) they must show at least a 10% of running that 10-19%.
If we've both got 35 out of 40 matches the same I'd say we match up very good.
