I would like to have the results of the comparitive relative strength vs the IXIC posted in a column and then sorted in descending order....I know it's possible, I can't come up with the solution. Any help appreciated.

show stocks where the relative strength(^IXIC,45) is above 1.25
and price greater than 5

show stocks where the relative strength(^IXIC,45) is above 1.25

add column comparative relative strength(^IXIC,45) {relative strength}
sort on column 5 descending

You just needed to add the last two lines ...

I would also add a further filter based on traded volume - some of these are going to be highly illiquid where you will be hard pressed to sell shares later.

Thank you Kevin. I appreciate the volume suggestion, I had overlooked it.
