This may have been done before, if so excuse me.
This looks for the Bollinger Band %(20,1.25) dropping below .90 when the price is outside the Upper Bollinger Band.
Please feel free to make this better and / or a possible bull filter.

I thought this might be appropriate considering the market we are in at this time. I like to have bullish and bearish filters.

Several months ago, noticed an interesting phenomenon at least with ETFs and maybe stocks.
When price goes over a certain bb. Plateau such as the higher band you present, and comes down but does not pass the lower band, but goes up again, price will go down to that lower price within 14 months.
This is how I knew Tqqq was going back down to the 40s
So the play on your filter if you just want to make slow steady 30-70% yearly returns would be go long UNG based on Dgaz not encroaching bottom bb band on your filter on Dec04. Could completely be just my observations.
Maybe create a filter to test this, basically where it dips below then goes above.

Here is a follow up BULL filter version. It has done great this past week in a bullish market. Look back at this past Monday, April 6, 2020 - 24 picks all green.
