show stocks where the MFI(14) has been increasing for 4 days
and rsi(14) is between 30 and 50
and obv is 500000
and price is between 0.75 and 3.5
currently i have tested this over several 6 month periods during which the market has been fairly volatile
but in nearly every test i did this screen was around 45+ to86% roi
even when it made less winning trades than losing ones it still made money anywhere form 5-8k over a 6 month period.
I have my stop loss set to 17% and profits to 22% in the last 6 month period i tested it made nearly 8.2 k. 3k of that though can be attributed to one stock as i checked the equity summary.
Im wondering if this filter is a general one or works better in bear markets as im assuming most of the last 2 years has been pretty rough

Your average net change for completed trades was: 7.13%.
The average draw down of your approach was: -13.46%.
The average max profit of your approach was: 37.84%
The Reward/Risk ratio for this approach is: 1.90
Annualized Return on Investment (ROI): 155.15%, the ROI of ^SPX was: -6.54%.
Exit Statistics

You held for the maximum period of time (15 days) 170 times or 55.02% of the time.

And yet after thinking id found a holy grail filter it actually lost 10k
How can something be 155% and yet loose 10k?

looking back throught the equity summary it was investing roughly 4k a pop is there any way to set this to a smaller amount
on most if not all of the other tests ive done it was only investing 400 a time

you set that by setting "maximum open positions" 25 will give you 4K and 250 will give 400
I don't know how they figure ROI but the only thing I care about is the bottom line from "equity summary"
