Duke,
I don't use intraday charts .... not that precise .... if anything however, I will monitor the market closely around 10 AM. If there is a morning spike either up or down (indicies or stocks), it quite often reverses itself around then ....

I'd also include the TNA/TZA 3x paired ETFs in that list.

I have no objection to playing leveraged ETFs. However, one must be careful to adjust your position size accordingly in order to properly mitigate market risks.

Any thoughts on SNV? It was all over the place today. It's range was 2.06-2.37. At open it was down over 6% and a hour later or so it had gain over 4% and closed down over 6%. It has a ATR(90) of .25 Mary4M mention this stock the other day.
in another post. Ther RSI(2) is currently 22.97. Does anyone in SF land set their buy price using the the 40 or 50% of the ATR - the close? Example SNV closed at 2.08 so at 40% of the ATR the buy price would be at 1.98.

OK, I am new at writing filter but here's my first contribution. Credit to chetron who showed me how to write the buyme, sellme counter few months ago. This one is not from Connor's ETF book, but the "Double 7" strategy he had. I am using it to trade 2xETFs:

I just received Larry new etf book. I am having trouble coding this method. any help ?
above ma 200
today above ma 5
two days ago the high and low of the price is below the previous days high and low.
yesterday the high and the low price of the day is below the previous day's
today,s high and low price is below yesterdays.
buy on close.
also in Investment secrets of a hedge fund manager, he uses historical volatility.
what he is looking for is 10 day h.v. to drop to half or less of it's 100 h.v. I think this would be useful in etf markets. on a side not, check out this site triplescreenmethod.com. he uses a “Synthetic” Covered Call. deep in the money calls.any ideas or thoughts would be great
