3/12/2006 5:55:56 PM As always....very, very nice work Avery. That's why we keep you around man! ******************************************************************************** as for your comments.... "If you wanted divergence, then why didn't you program the filter to find divergence in the first place?" " It's funny, you call it YOUR FILTER(ACCUMULATION WARM POP-80) when about 90% of the code came from my filter!" ******************************************************************************** The problem with your coding is.... way too many columns and half of them most traders don't know what the hell they are. And more than half of the "results" in YOUR divergence filter, don't even show divergence! When "all" the results in my filter show actual divergence. So what's the point? And who want's to see a filter with over 140 results anyway? And why make a seperate filter for Force Index(2)? Nobody in the world would use it for a stand alone filter anyway. So no, i DON'T "Owe You" anything pal. So really Avery...most of the time your work is all for not. Sorry, but again...nobody asked ya! And that "90% of the code"...Dude, nobody even noticed "YOUR ZOOM LENS" till "I" brought it to the forfront and turned it into an ACTUAL filter. So sorry for the simplicity of todays filters, but I'm a little hung over from NASCAR in Vegas yesterday, but I think most traders here would rather use MY filters than something Einstein would have coded. Just my opinion of course. But yes...RSI(2)rocks! And we all have you to thank for it. Gooo NASCAR!!!!! **** THE MIGHTY RIGGS ACCUMULATION WARM POP-80 **** **** RSI(2) DIVERGENCE & ACCUMULATION WARM POP-80 **** RIGGS |

Just use the ones you want! The columns are displays. Obviously, Riggs, you don't know divergence when it's staring you in the face! LOL! Lower Price making higher RSI value.. that's positive divergence. LOOK AGAIN, RIGGS, there's divergence! Riggs, you must really be hungover with a statement like "nobody noticed my ZOOM LENS." GO SOBER UP! |

Avery, I honestly don't know why you spend soooo much time on my threads, so I guess you see me as a threat of some sort. Dude, no one on this site has more professional respect for you than I do. With that said...REAL "positive divergence" is when price reaches a certain BOTTOM and RSI(2)COMPLETES a recent BOTTOM higher than the previous BOTTOM. Divergence is NOT when price reaches a bottom and RSI(2)skywards above 75! And really you want the COMPLETED bottom below 50, NOT above it. That my friend is NOT what we want to see in a chart. So maybe YOU should look at a couple more thousand charts B-4 railroading my threads. Is it by accident that 31 of 32 results in "MY" divergence filter all rose after just 1 trading day? You surprise me Avery. And BTW, YOU go "LOOK AGAIN" at your "MOMENTUM ZOOM LENS" thread....Not a SINGLE follow up post. Oops, I'm sorry...there were THREE(3) including myself! LOL! "Go sober up" yeah right....LOL... Here Avery, this is what you want to see in a REAL RSI(2)divergence filter. Will the REAL RSI(2) expert please stand up????? I need to sit down now....I feel like I'm gonna puke. Slow Gin and Budwiser don't mix..... RIGGS |

3/12/2006 7:36:05 PM Rigg's you are not a threat to me. POSITIVE DIVERGENCE IS LOWER PRICES MAKING HIGHER READINGS ON AN INDICATOR. Now, if what you want is Pos Div off a recent bottom, that's a subset of Pos Div! And Riggs, just because no one has anything to say on a thread doesn't imply it's not read! My TREND Indicator on TradeStation gets about 1,000 views per day! It's the most widely viewed thread by almost a 2 to 1 margin! And guess what, days can go by before someone posts on that thread. Yes, Riggs, go have a good puke..LOL!! |

3/12/2006 7:41:34 PM Excellent Filter one thing I am cnfused about should we add a date offset filter of 3 or buy as the scan picks it up and hold for 3 Thanks Scott |

3/12/2006 7:52:19 PM Using an offset just means the train left the station without you! You want to jump on while the divergence is occurring. |

3/12/2006 7:55:16 PM Here's the filter WITHOUT the offset: I also added the PD2345 column so you know where the divergence occurred. MAY ALL YOUR FILLS BE COMPLETE. |

3/12/2006 8:02:30 PM Avery You said..... "POSITIVE DIVERGENCE IS LOWER PRICES MAKING HIGHER READINGS ON AN INDICATOR." W-R-O-N-G A-G-A-I-N! I dare you to cut & paste that quote from ANYWHERE on the net. LOL... Divergence AGAIN is..." Prices making LOWER bottoms and RSI(2), CCI(7), FI(2) etc. COMPLETING higher bottoms than the previous bottom. Wow Avery, I had no Idea you were so lacking in this area. It's kind of funny though. It's like us all waiting for the space shuttle to return and seeing a Monkee be the first to step out of it. LOL...I STRONGLY suggest you google "Divergence" tonight and get a better grip on this thing. I've taken you about as far as I would like at this point. Wow! amazing..... Here again is DIVERGENCE at it's finest. You WON'T see RSI(2)in overbought levels after 1 trading day like you see everywhere on YOUR filter. But I must say...You're filter L@@KS smarter and prettier. RIGGS |
