Estetson, like most other bullish oriented filters you have to take the general market trend and structure into account when using this filter. From the time period May through June the market was pretty much in a distribution phase. This means that the majority of stocks were also in a declining phase. Difficult under these circumstances to find many winners. In mid-late July my indicators told me that the SPX could possibly be putting in a double bottom. Although I have not backtested this filter over that time period my guess is you would find a lot more winners than losers.

or do you use yesterdays close results to trade todays market?

HEY RIGGSY:

Do you advise editing the price below 20.00? i would like to tweak it down to 5.00 and up but i noticed the warm pop gets wierd on the lower priced crap.

By far the filter generates winners and the set-up is as clear as a bell..
superb job!

jaco
