i have done it on 44 stocks in the last 3 months-- go to barcharts.com and check every 30 minutes for the highest % gainers--and look at their volume and graph- today it was zoom at 1200 noon- it had big news and stock was up 120% from 4-8.50-- just use a 10-15 rsi-2 to pick off the next bottom after the intial thrust up-and see if the volume is >5X-- then check the daily rsi-2 if its <99% go for the low buy- it was at 97% on this stock meaning it could still go up a lot - so i got in at 1155am- i bought back while near 7$ for 50k shares--the 15minute rsi-2 was at <5%-i sold it at the dead top of the 15 minute rsi-2 at 14.10$- i bought back 25k shares at the close at near 12.65

M4M, do you have to purchase an account with this website for accessing the highest % gainers data etc? if yes, then one could actually get this from a trading website like TD or Scottrade i guess?

what you want to check is on nasdaq.com or any service that gives you premarket most active-- bought 44k shares of lxrx at right after 0.800 at near 2$- as soon as the market opened it shoot to 3.72 in 5 minutes- sold at average of 3.44
