12/6/2002 12:20:16 PM As a result of great user feedback and ideas, we have added a first-pass at a Cup and Handle pattern detector. You can search for this pattern using the simple phrase below: For this first version of the Cup and Handle pattern, we search for patterns where the entire length can be anywhere from 30 to 200 days. Look for future versions that will allow you to customize features for this pattern! Below is an example of the Cup and Handle pattern lines.

11/1/2004 6:41:12 AM SF Crew, Is there any chance to be able to add script to the pattern searches? i.e. show stocks where pattern is cup and handle within the past xx days. Reason: I don't know how long SF "keeps" the Cup& handle pattern "alive". BUT.... CMF(14) crosses above zero is a KILLER trigger for this pattern. See for yourself. Chain these two together and take a look back at 70days ago, 75, 65, 60, 55, etc... Fantastic 30+ day win/loss ratios with some short term draw down issues (read: script tweaks) that can be addressed. Your efforts are appreciated. |
